That switched-on phones with flexible screens arrive, it’s no longer news, and recently we’ve seen that such a device will look like that. In the folded state it has the form of a classic smartphone, to be disassembled into a tablet. Flexible screen is not visible in the folded state, but on the other side there is an auxiliary screen, which makes it a smartphone in the classical sense.
It looks interesting and it seems that it could serve the purpose, but the question is with the price, and that’s precisely what we were most afraid of. Namely, according to information leaked today, Samsung Galaxy F, or how this model will be called, will cost between 1925 and 2565 dollars, reports GSMArena.
If these rumors show themselves to be true, the first generation phone with flip-flops will be available to a very narrow circle of people, so it is no surprise that this model will be produced in just one million copies. This figure seems small compared to other models Samsung intends to sell, but it’s big again to be a limited-edition series. Of course, this device should not be expected to be immediately accepted on the market, but in case it will be, maybe the price will also be adjusted in time.
Either way, these are still just rumors, so they need to be taken with reserve.
