“Fishing” is a proven and effective method for attackers when they want to take control of someone’s computer. Phishing e-mails are often so written that they look legitimate and can easily fool the recipient to click on the links in them. Alphabet attempted to introduce Internet users with the methods used in phishing attacks, but also to educate them how to recognize them. With this goal, they made a short test to check how well you see phishing mail.
In conjunction with Jigsaw (an incubator of ideas within Alphabet), a quiz was created to check your knowledge of phishing mail recognition. The quiz consists of eight questions that in various ways manifest potential threats. However, if you do not answer everything correctly, do not worry, at least you will learn how to recognize them in the real world.
If you have been able to give a correct answer to all questions, congratulations, but do not deceive yourself – you are still at risk, because the moment of neglect is enough to make the attack on your system successful.
